Who is the training for?
- Anyone and everyone with an interest in epilepsy, learning
disability, autism & aspergers syndrome, or who cares
for or supports an adult or child living with these conditions.
Courses are especially suitable for family and professional
carers, schools and colleges, teachers, nurses, doctors,
pharmacists, first aiders, support/key workers, employers
and employees, youth workers, holiday scheme providers,
day services, rehabilitation services, childminders, playgroup
assistants/leaders, housing organisations and councils,
social workers and many others.
Who will deliver the training?
- A professional trainer and registered nurse and health
visitor who is a qualified Specialist Epilepsy Nurse.
The trainer has been working in the field of epilepsy
both in clinical practice, research and training for 15
years. The trainer continues to work in a clinical setting
and as a reviewer for an epilepsy nursing research journal
and university research department and maintains an up
to date, evidence based knowledge base relevant to the
