The Specialist Epilepsy Training Provider

The Courses - A variety of customised courses for groups or individuals (supported distance/on line learning) at introductory or advanced levels are available. Courses use a variety of teaching and learning methods such as multi media presentations, workshops and case studies, discussion groups and practical demonstrations and simulated practice sessions. Courses include Epilepsy Awareness and Practical Management for Seizures (first aid ), Rectal diazepam (Stesolid) and Buccal Midazolam (Epistatus) administration. Other courses such as Autism & Aspergers Awareness and Learning Disability can also be combined with the epilepsy courses or delivered separately to suit your needs.

Courses are usually delivered in-house at your venue but some are also available as distance learning/on-line courses. All those attending courses or completing a distance learning course satisfactorily will receive a certificate of attendance and supporting material, appropriate for NVQ's and LDAF. Courses are evaluated and constantly reviewed and updated in line with current best practice and relevant training guidelines (eg. Joint Epilepsy Council). Please see Courses page for more detail on courses available.
