This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for, it applies to information collected by this website and to information you provide to us in connection with our business.  It will notify you of the following:-

1.      What personally identifiable information (personal data) is collected from you through the website, and in connection with booking and delivering training and how it is used and with whom it may be shared.

Information Collection ,Use and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected on our website and during the course of our business, that is the booking and delivering of training.  We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give to us via email, telephone, the website contact form, or at the point of delivery of a training session.  We will not sell, rent or share information with any third parties.   We do not collect or store any sensitive personal data by any means.

We will use the personal data you supply to respond to your enquiry as requested when you contact us via our website, email or by telephone in connection with supplying training.  We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfil your request.

We will take a register containing the names of individuals attending a training session and the date attended when training is delivered by Epilepsy Education and Training. The purpose being to know who has attended, to know how to address attendees, and to supply a certificate of attendance following training.  We will keep a copy of this for up to two years or until the stated expiry date of the certificate for the purpose of monitoring when the attendee should attend a refresher course, after this time the information will be deleted from our records.  We do not collect, use or store any contact information for individuals attending a training session.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you (our client) via email or telephone in the future with the information you requested about our training services or about changes to this privacy policy. We only retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide a service, or to improve our services in the future.

Your Access to and Control Over Information

You may opt out of any future contact from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address/contact form or phone number given on our website.

·       See what data we have about you, if any.

·       Change/correct any data we have about you.

·       Have us delete any data we have about you.

·       Express any concern you have about our use of your data or if you feel that we are not abiding by this privacy policy.


We take precautions to protect your information both online and offline, we do not collect sensitive data from this website. The owner of this website is the only person who has access to personally identifiable information, the computers used to store this information is kept in a secure environment and password protected, the premises used to store information are secure and only accessed by the owner of this website/business.

Epilepsy Education and Training do not expect to have any direct access to personal information or company records whilst delivering training at a clients venue if we inadvertently overhear conversations relating to personal information connected to residents/service users or staff or are left unattended in the location of written records we are bound by our professional confidentiality never to share this information with a third party.  In additional we will make this known to the person in charge as a potential breach.  In addition we acknowledge that we have a duty to report anything which may alert us to a potential abuse of a vulnerable person to the person in charge so that this situation can be investigated promptly.

As a Registered Nurse, Lynette Breton, the trainer/director of Epilepsy Education and Training,  is bound by her professional code of conduct.


We use ‘cookies’ on our website, this is a piece of data (as a random unique number) only used when someone sends a message it contains no personal data and is not retained by the website.  Cookies may also be used by Google Analytics solely forthe purpose of analytics and service improvement, no personal data is shared with them. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.
